Kilmore Sloping Site Construction
The Kilmore sloping site project presented a level of complexity that many builders hesitated to tackle. The site featured a 4.5 metre fall across the block, necessitating careful planning, detailed coordination, and a clear construction strategy from the outset. With 3.8 metre ceiling heights and a total roof height reaching 6.8 metres at its highest point, this high complexity residential build demanded precision across structure, sequencing, and compliance.
While a number of builders assessed the project and ultimately passed due to the slope, scale, and technical challenges involved, EK Built embraced the opportunity for custom split level construction.
Through considered planning, experienced site management, and disciplined execution, we delivered the project from groundworks through to completion. Every stage was carefully managed to ensure the design intent was achieved while maintaining buildability, quality, and compliance.
The finished result speaks for itself—a well-executed residential build that transforms a challenging sloping site into a refined, high quality home. This project reflects what EK Built stands for: taking on complex builds, solving problems before they become issues, and delivering outcomes others walk away from.

KILMORE RESIDENTS
Our approach
For the family, this wasn’t just a build; it was their forever home. On a Kilmore sloping site with over 4.6 metres of fall, the project required high complexity residential build solutions, including a fully custom split level construction, precise retaining, and smart structural planning. E.K Built designed everything from the ground up without pre-set plans and with no compromises.
The outcome is a refined Modern Hamptons home that sits harmoniously on a challenging block, featuring cathedral ceilings that enhance space, light, and impact. Each room was purpose-designed for comfort, functionality, and long-term living.
A challenging site. A tailored solution. Delivered by E.K Built.
